Finally Launched!

Thursday, May 9.  Getting going was harder than expected but finally launched about 0700 (gotta use navy time!) Thanks to Susan McLeod, our neighbor, we had this photo of us departing Taylor Creek.
Rounded Windmill Point and headed up the Bay. A combo of first day excitement, a down wind wallowing sail and too much time looking down made for a perfect storm of nausea.  Lost my cookies.  But have had no problems since.  We made it as far as Solomons Island our first day.  75.6 nm!
A nice quiet anchorage for our first night.
